Dawn - Original Acrylic painting on Canvas 16"x20"

Living in colorado, tall evergreens and rocky cliffs are practically everywhere but even so, waking up at dawn when the sun rays are yet soft and golden, creeping through these trees and rocky cliffs takes my breath away. 
With this painting, I wanted to capture this moment. 
I used acrylics cause I wanted to paint fast just like the dawn that only lasts for a few moments before the sun takes over to give us the endless days of sunshine.
